There are many web sites devoted to telling how great of a vacation spot Maui is and attempting to sell you a bit of that experience. But there are few web sites that address the issue of what it's like to actually move to and live on Maui.

MauiMovingSource.org is a nonprofit site written by a long time resident that attempts to give you a very frank and honest look at the pros and cons of living on Maui. Hopefully you'll have a better idea of what you are getting yourself into before you sell the farm and move.

Charity Through Insight:
The concept seeks to provide useful information and insight free of charge in hopes of raising money for charity. There are many great causes and many great charities. Hurricane Katrina, the Red Cross, and Habitat for Humanity are simply our current focus. MauiMovingSource.org is the first of several websites to come that will further those charitable aspirations. We encourage you to create your own websites, sharing what you know, in order to raise money for charity and educate.
